Why You Should Have An Estate Plan

An estate plan is necessary for many reasons. If you have children, have been remarried and also have step-children, are unmarried and have no children or have a disabled child you will want to have an estate plan. The most common reason that people want to set up an estate plan is to avoid probate. This is a scary, unknown area for many. They may have heard stories from friends or relatives about the problems they faced when dealing with this. The one thing they probably are going to say is they do not want to deal with this legality. If an estate plan is in place, this will eliminate the need for any certification in a court of law. The number one reason this has to be dealt with is that people do not like to think about this aspect of their lives.
