I Am Increasing My Gutar Playing Skills as I Practice
After my basic lessons with the learn and master guitar series, I could play quite a bit of music on my guitar, but I knew that I still had a long way to go to be able to play well enough to do some gigs with my friends on the weekends. I decided to try the learn and master guitar expanded edition to add a few more techniques and skills to my basic playing. Now that I know what to do I just have to become smoother at doing it. I don’t really mind the practice, and I have my goals in mind, so it’s all good all the way around.

They Like to Make Things
It’s a lot of fun to have girls. I love my sons, and they are downright charming at times, but there is just nothing like having girly fun with my daughters. My boys just aren’t interested in paper, punches or crafts - card making. When I want that kind of fun, I can grab my daughters and we will be cutting and sticking for hours. It used to be something that they would enjoy, but they are now at the age that we can really share it and they do a fantastic job and are so creative. I hope we can always bond this way.

love big screens
I seem to have a fetish for very large screens. I’m someone who has memorized the IMAX Theater Locations around me so i can find them quickly. I even have one of the largest tv screens you can buy in my house. It is a projector, so the actual screen size can vary quite a bit. Seriously, this is a massivley large screen. But I’ve noticed, that it might actually be too large. When viewing it from my couch, my neck sometimes hurts from having to look up at it. I guess that is a problem that not too many people have, but surely someone will feel sorry for me!

When somebody says …
They love to tell jokes, I back away like a vampire being taunted by a cross. It’s such a turn-off I can’t tell you. Because there are two types of joke tellers, the awful ones that get lost on the way to the punchline, and EVEN WORSE–the ones that milk the joke for forever and tell it “well” so that it takes twenty years to get to the lame one line sentence. It’s like a six-year-old handing you a mud cake they spent forty hours making and expects you to eat it and be happy. Just because you’re stupid and took a long time to do something, doesn’t mean I’m gonna eat mud. In short, I hate anything people call really funny jokes.

I Have Enrolled in an Introduction to Sumi-e Painting Class
Recently I was whining about being bored with nothing interesting to do with my life. I was having a real pity party when my husband suggested that I get off my bad attitude and find something interesting to do. Maybe I could find a night class to sign up for, he suggested. I decided to just check into what was being offered down at the adult education building in the way of non-credit classes. Finally I signed up for an introduction to sumi-e painting class. This is a style of Japanese painting that uses broad and abrupt strokes. It is supposed to say more by the details that you leave out, I think. Anyway, this should be interesting.

Alcohols and paint thinners
Virtually all the major piano manufacturers offer cleaning and care instructions on their web sites. Even some disinfectants like Purell and Lysol are mostly alcohol or phenols and should be used well away from the piano. Solvents like alcohols and paint thinners can damage the finish and the key covers. Bleach of any variety can damage the piano for sale finish and the wood parts of the piano. You should keep all strong chemicals and cleaners away from your piano. If the water is small in amount and not readily accessible, usually the best thing to do is to simply let it evaporate, rather than risk mechanical damage to the piano.
