Medial tibial stress syndrome
Medial tibial stress syndrome is usually a difficulty which is sore along the inside side of the tibia in those runners whom have a tendency to perform too much jogging too soon or build up their mileage too quickly. It’s more usually known within the non-medical groups as shin splints. In addition to jogging mistakes, this may also be because of poor feet biomechanics or inappropriate footwear. Treatment is aimed at correcting the running errors along with the use of foot supports to further improve the foot dysfunction. Most athletes can continue training through this with only small cutbacks in the distances that they run.
