Dad Won’t Listen To Me
My father is having a lot of trouble with heartburn after just about every meal. I tried to tell him he needs to cut back on his portion sizes and eat some mini-meals instead throughout the day. This type of acid reflux diet will cure the problem. Even though I’m a nurse, he gives my words no credence. He thinks that unless a doctor says it, it can’t possibly be true. So, I told him to ask his doctor about it at his check-up appointment next week and see what he says. I’m confident that the doctor will agree with me and he’ll hopefully put Dad on a diet.
