A few car care tips for the family car owner
As an automotive mechanic I’ve seen many problems every day that lead to big repair bills that are easy to avoid with a little car maintenance common sense. The cars today are in general very well made and will last a long time if taken care of, so here are a few car care tips for the average owner. Replace the three major filters for oil, air, and fuel on a regular basis. Consult your manufacturer’s requirements for your specific vehicle. If any of the three filters mentioned becomes to dirty to do its job it can lead to major automotive headaches. Clean filters usually means a clean engine.
