One way to cut the wheat from the chaff when it comes to equity release providers is to try and separate the good providers from the bad. I know this sounds relatively simple to do but in actual fact, when it comes to equity release providers, this is no easy feat. Why not? Because equity release providers all appear to be offering the same product.
There are home reversions, lifetime mortgages, roll up mortgages aren’t there? Aren’t all equity release providers offering these? Yes they are. But they differ in quality and sometimes quite severely so make sure you read the small print otherwise you could be geared up to receive equity release from one of the worst providers.
