My Dogs Love Dog Toys

My dogs love plush dog toys.  They are constantly chewing them up, however.  I have found the best ones to buy are things like ropes, which are great for fetch, tug of war, and need no repairs!  If a dog toy does need to be repaired, such as the stuffed animal type plushies, a hand stitch is the easiest way to do that.  They also need to be washed at least once a month to prevent bacteria growth.  My dogs have an orange bone that has survived almost three years of use!  It’s been sewn back up five or six times.  One of the best purchases I’ve made for them was a nylon rope with “dental strands” which are supposed to act like some time of doggy floss.  It has taken quite the beating, but is still a favorite.  I would not recommend bringing this typ eof rope outside, however, because it becomes very dirty and dogs won’t chew on it once it is covered in sand.  The best toys for outside are the latex or vinyl type that can be easily washed, as they don’t absorb water.
