Rethinking our Fuel Choices
When it was time to make the switch from air conditioning to heat, we were so excited about the coming winter. The problem was that the system did not come on. There was a major defect in the thirty year old heating unit. We had to get a new unit fast. When we started looking at the different kinds of systems, we decided to switch fuel types from oil to gas. We were in the middle of figuring out the gas boiler sizing when we realized we needed to consider the fact that our ceiling was sixteen feet high in most of the lower level of the house. It made all the difference in the world.
