Which banks have free checking?
I am moving to a new state, and the small bank I use for my bank accounts currently does not have any branches there, so I need to get a new bank account. I really love my bank. It has free checking and doesn’t have a lot of fees. I am hoping to find something similar near my new home. Can anyone tell me which banks offer free checking? I want to avoid paying a monthly fee for a checking account since I rarely use checks anyways and just need someplace to get my money direct deposited to. I usually pay my bills online.
