Inside the Titanic: Designed for the Elite Class
Aristocrats, public figures and famous persons were all aboard the greatest shipwreck of the last century. The inside of the Titanic was designed to accommodate the highest class of people on what was supposed to be a luxurious cruise from England to America.
The Titanic was designed with the elite in mind including an on board swimming pool, gymnasium, squash courts, a detailed dining room and magnificent ballroom. Along with on deck cafes and elegant guest rooms, the interior of the Titanic was an aristocrat’s dream. Guests also enjoyed shows, big bands, and endless entertainment provided by the ship and crew. When the ship went down, the main dining area and the ballroom were the last to fill with water, almost as if they were tried to be preserved by Mother Nature. The inside of the Titanic was designed to be admired for years and now can only be admired through recreations.
