It goes without saying that learning how to slam dunk in a professional way is more difficult than just learning to jump. The most amazing thing to me about all of this is the fact that there’s no one really teaching exactly How To Dunk. The teaching aspect of this has, for the most part, been left to the occasional contest that you can catch on television. Obviously, with the advent of online video’s accessibility, being able to watch your favorite dunks are just a few clicks away. What I’m saying is that you can’t learn something just by watching it only during performances. How come there aren’t trainers and coaches out there that work on various dunking skills only? Of course, we’d consider them specialists.
