well if ur charger is 110 v then then the charger will get toasted and your apple iphone 3g might also suffer if u plug it in a 220 v wall socket… my advice would b go to your local consumer electronic’s store and ask them for a step up iphone 3g ac adapter. You have to find the power voltage used in the country you visit. UK, Singapore and Australia used 230V with 3 pin plug and so your 220V will not get toast. Japan is one of those country who use 100V as their supply, beware every country is different.
