A couple of bunk rooms suite us perfectly
I was really hoping that the lodge I normally stay at for my mount ruapehu accommodation was not booked out for when a group of us wanted to head down to the mountain for the weekend. I gave the owner a call who I have gotten to know over the years to see if they had anything and fortunately they still had a couple of bunk rooms available which is all we needed. We got down there the early the next morning and put our bags on our bunks and then got in to our ski gear and were straight up the mountain. The skiing was excellent and so was the night that followed back at the lodge with a big group of people having a few drinks around the fire.
