Planning Makes Perfect… Most Of The Time
Marcy was going on holiday in Jamaica, and she wanted to make sure that every little detail would be perfect. She had her ticket and hotel room booked, bought half a dozen swimsuits, stocked up on suntan lotion, bought asthma medication, downloaded brochures off the Internet, scheduled her utilities to be turned off on the date of her departure, and checked her passport application status online. On the day she was due to leave, she double-checked her suitcase, made sure everything electrical was turned off, and turned her cat over to her neighbour for her to watch and feed while Marcy was away. She was in her car and about halfway to the airport when she realized she forgot one teeny tiny but very important thing: she had forgotten her toothbrush.
